What To Know About Moving To Wilmington

Moving to a new city is exciting! Uncovering local watering holes, exploring new neighborhoods, making connections, and finding your community are all parts of the unique experience of relocation.

On the flip side, Wilmington is known for its pleasant warm weather and sunny beach days! We have milder winters and warm springs and falls, making the off seasons just as enjoyable as peak summer.

There is so much history and culture in Downtown Wilmington! From the museums to the 18th-century architecture to the vibrant arts scene, there’s so much to learn about this city. 5. Cost of Living 💰

Did you know that the cost of living in Wilmington, NC is 5% lower than the national average? It’s the perfect place for growing families, busy professionals, or beach lovers to settle down. While the amazing small businesses help keep the local economy booming, the city is also a key hub for important industries like healthcare, pharmaceuticals, tech, and aerospace! This makes Wilmington a great place to live AND work. 

6. Median Home Price 🏡

It’s always good to know what the average home costs in the area you’re looking to move! In Wilmington, NC, the median home price rests in the mid-400s. With this being the average, there are plenty of properties available to fit any budget!
